BANFF
Shotgunning beers, the rockies and sick nightlife!
Banff was another place I had little to no expectations of and a place I fell in love with immediately. Everything from the hostel to the people had me in awe and we have even touched on the lakes and glaciers! The nightlife was another highlight here and there was a certain bar (Aurora since changed to high rollers bowling) which would serve 25 cent beers! Yes they tasted disgusting but I was 21 and the only thing that mattered was that it got me drunk!

The hostel was perfect as well, everyone knew each other and every night we would head out together for a pub crawl or to a nightclub. So meeting friends here was never a problem and a great place to actually travelling solo for the first time.

Banff is stunning but I didn’t appreciate it half as much as i should have!
Full marks to the guy in the jacket who managed to find me a bottle of Harp in Banff (it’s a Belfast beer). Although word is he nabbed it from the hostel fridge 🤷🏻♂️

FINAL THOUGHTS
Banff is for sure a special place and it’s clear to see I got comfortable and stayed a little too long. However I am a big believer in everything happens for a reason and even looking back would not have changed anything.
