CALGARY STAMPEDE
Out of Banff & to the Stampede
I got stuck in Banff and comfortable, it was my first time travelling alone and because I was having the best time and found it easy to meet people I was worried about leaving. Would I have difficulty being able to do the same at my next stop? Would I even meet people as friendly as they are here? I had it cushty and just couldn’t force myself to leave. That was until Ben & Emily introduced me to the Calgary Stampede and said I had to join them along with Hayley.
The Stampede is all about beers and cowboys and a right laugh, you really need to experience it to understand but it’s famous throughout North America and I was finally glad to receive the push I needed.

FINAL THOUGHTS
Mixed emotions leaving Banff but I knew it had to be done – I was almost physically dragged away. But what better event to attend that the Stampede, it was insane and a lot of fun made better than the people who I was able to enjoy it with!
