GROUSE MOUNTAIN & CRACK COCAINE IN VICTORIA ISLAND!
Vancouver to Tofino turned out to be a pretty short experience which was gutting as I had a few things planned – as well as heading up north to check out Whistler, one of the best sky resorts in the world! not ideal for June so that will have to wait regardless. I was recommended Tofino by a friend in Banff and have high hopes but I just pray the offer of crack cocaine in Victoria isn’t a sign of things to come!

FINAL THOUGHTS
I knew before I arrived that 2 days in Vancouver wasn’t going to be enough, but I always had plans to return to check out Whistler during ski season. Tofino on Victoria Island reminded me of Banff. There was only 1 hostel in the town and everyone socialised together, this always makes for the best hostels. But being the only hostel, it doesn’t take long for it to fill up and when I arrived I was told there were no more beds available. I immediately thought, I have no other option but to shell out for a hotel! However this seems to be common place and instead of sending you on your way they just lined the common room with a few spare mattresses and we were sorted!
