CROSSING INTO SEATTLE
PIKE PLACE, BUBBLE GUM & STRIP CLUBS!
From Victoria Island I was able to get the boat directly to Seattle to start my American leg of my trip. So far none of my “travelling solo” fears has become reality and I was well on my way to having the best time of my life. If anyone has been to America they will know the immigration is somewhat strict, there is no special conditions and you must simply play by the rules.
One thing I was aware of was the need of an onward flight to prove I did not play on overstaying my welcome. Me being me however hadn’t bothered and had no idea what to expect at border control. Arriving at the U.S. immigration the lady asked when my flight home was and I said I don’t have one booked but have my final year in uni to be back for. She stamped my green card and wished me a good trip, wow!
WHERE IS SEATTLE?

CROSSING INTO SEATTLE
I hadn’t much planned here in Seattle, it was more of a stepping stone for my trip down to San Fran and L.A. where I knew the fun would really start but again the hostel I choose proved to be a winner and probably the highlight of my time here.
