How to save to travel the world. Unless you are one of the lucky ones or your hard work pays well, you aren’t going to get too far without saving a few quid. You expect saving money to be much easier.

After 10 years of traveling, I believe I have tried every trick in the book for saving money. I have found that some work better than others, but a little willpower goes a long way!
YOU DON’T NEED TO BE RICH
In the generation of failed savers escaping the temptation of 21st-century marketing is hard. Various tactics lure us into sales, and micro marketing enhances this on social media platforms. Marketers now individually target us based on age, gender, and personality, which might shock you.

YOU JUST NEED TO BE SAVVY
Whether you want to travel the world, visit every country or just set off on a special holiday we all need to make a few sacrifices. I saved well for my big trip but I wanted to make sure I wasn’t going to miss out on any of the fun. There is nothing worse than a bit of FOMO and I was happy with the balance.
Over 5 years, I found the highest-paying savings account and deposited every penny I could spare. Besides opening savings accounts, I also set up a direct debit to automatically transfer part of my wages each month. Initially, living on less is difficult, but you soon get used to not buying those trainers you fancied or going out every weekend and spending all your earnings. In the end, I saved a small fortune, and I undoubtedly made one of the best decisions.
