Spectacular pagodas meet simply satisfying teahouses

Mingalabah! Welcome to Burma. That’s a phonetic translation of hi, anyway! Burmese can be a tricky language to master. Burma (sometimes known as Myanmar, though it’s a politically complex question) has only just opened up to tourism. This means that you could still be one of the first outsiders to see this breathtaking landscape for decades. And breathtaking it is, from countryside scattered with gilded pagodas between which cows are grazed to the city of Yangon with its newly open-to-the-public 16 acre secretariat. In the rest of the country, fishing takes place in to mornings on Inle Lake and buddhist rituals can be caught year round at the many temples. If you want to experience a place like no other, and see a country healing in real time, VISIT BURMA!
