NACPAN, EL NIDO
THE PHILIPPINES SERIES PT11
After an enjoyable few days in El Nido I rented a bike and headed up to Nacpan for the day, one of the best beaches in the world. It’s 45mins away which is always fun on a 125 dirt bike but the beach was an absolute beauty.
FOR MOST OF THE TIME I HAD THE ENTIRE BEACH TO MYSELF
It’s a huge bay but one of the attractions has to be how quiet it is, however I have no doubt that will change in no time!
WHERE IS NACPAN BEACH?
The best beach in the world
VIEWPOINT
There’s a viewpoint at one end which is nice, but a struggle to get up in flip flops. I walked back down towards the other beach via a cat who had been washed up, I just hope it wasn’t the same one from Brunei! LINK
The beach is stunning and there was very few people around. I actually had it to myself for a few hours until some others started to arrive. It was the true definition of paradise!
LAS CABANAS BEACH
Headed back towards El Nido and stopped off at Las Cabanas Beach where paddy told me about a zipline which takes you over to another island. He also recommended the beach for sunset and a chill. He wasn’t wrong!
ZIPLINE
The zipline was brilliant. Check out the video below. Then to top it off the sunset was one of the best. I soon learned where El Nido’s best beach was!
TOUR C
Decided to extend another night for Tour C as it was recommended. Same story as the first one but different locations this time. The snorkelling is always fun though, for something so easy and cheap it’s usually a highlight.
Brought my Northern Ireland flag and got a few under water photos, took a bit of effort and I’m sure everyone was thinking what I was up to. Back to the beach again just to chill and I bumped into the kids again, still can’t stop saying sir though!
Starting to really enjoy this place so I decided to extend yet again and rent a bike to explore. Unfortunately it didn’t take long to rain and had to spend most of the day in the hotel.

FINAL THOUGHTS
The tours were great and so was the zipline but the highlight was for sure Nacpan and I would imagine in years to come I will wonder how on earth I was able to have this entire beach to myself! Mark my words, this will be one of the most touristy beaches in the Philippines.
