Primate paradise meets green-peaked mountains

Muraho, welcome to Rwanda. Still recovering from the horrors of the Rwandan genocide, this is a country that will not forget but is certainly healing. Its people are friendly and positive, and welcome the visitors that now come to the county. To see the memorial to the terrible events, visit the capital of Kengali. Most visitors though, come for the amazing wildlife. Mgahinga National park is home to gorillas, while Nyungwe Forest Park has a canopy swinging with chimps – one you can walk in yourself thanks to some pretty cool rope bridges! There are also endless mountains – some are volcanoes in fact – for other outdoor pursuits and breathtaking views. So, whether you’re there for the primates or the hiking, you’d better VISIT RWANDA!
