Guinea

A national acrobatics centre meets tourist-free natural wonders

Bonjour, welcome to Guinea. This little-visited African country offers the mountain plateau Fouta Djallon, waterfalls, hills, villages and forests. It’s loved by driving enthusiasts, with the washed out roads offering a joyful 4×4 challenge to those into that sort of thing. If you like to take life slower, stick to hiking all day to spot chimpanzees. For dinner you might find fou fou, a pastry with okra, boiled mango, or maybe even pumpkin pie. Rich in minerals, Guinea has a decent economy, and there are museums, ornamental gardens and even a breathtaking centre for acrobatic arts to be visited. If you want to see acrobats swinging through the sky one day, and chimps swinging through the canopy the next, then VISIT GUINEA!
