Serbia

Sub-zero temperatures meets an incredibly warm welcome
Zdravo! And welcome to Serbia, one of the many Baltic states that use a variation of the Serbo-Croatian language. Home of EXIT festival, Serbia is perhaps the party capital of the Baltic countries. Don’t let that put you off if you aren’t an out-all-night type, though, or if you swore off it some time ago, because there’s plenty more to the country. Like its neighbours, Serbia has been through many hands, meaning that architecture spans from Ottoman to Socialist, hitting pretty much everything between on the way. There are several museums in the city, and free walking tours from the main square every day that will take you through its history. The countryside also draws visitors, green and lush as it is, with a national park that should appeal to anyone who likes to get outside, whether it’s having a wander or white water rafting. If you want a warm welcome, and maybe the Nikola Tesla Museum, then VISIT SERBIA!
