THE HAWAII & ASIA SERIES PT2
VEGAS, U.S.
After constantly being on the road I thought I might be a good idea to chill in Vegas for a bit, especially as it’s my birthday, where else!
I’VE NEVER BEEN TO A SHOW THAT MADE ME SHOCKED ME AND MADE ME LAUGH
I planned to spend the next few days seeing and eating my way through Vegas and their buffets, as who knew what the food was going to be like for the next few months!
WHERE IS VEGAS
Cirque Du Soleils in Vegas
WALKING WALKING WALKING
Having checked into the MGM I did what I normally do and took the the streets. Vegas might just be one street but its deceivingly huge. Anytime I needed to go across the road or to the next hotel I imagine the walk to be a minute or two. Not in Vegas, as everything is on steroids it appears to be so much closer than you think but yet, worth a visit all the same!
LOST PHOTOS
Since South America I was still having problems with my phone and it just wouldn’t connect to any Wi-Fi. Imagine the pain of 5 months of limited Wi-Fi in South America! Apple’s only answer was a replacement but this meant I had to back my photos up, something that is impossible without Wi-Fi. I had been trying since I got back in the UK for my mum’s surprise birthday but even the network at home didn’t help. After countless times visiting the Apple store in Vegas and even leaving my phone there to hopefully connect to their Wi-Fi I cut my losses and reset it. It so turns out I was able to retain more photos than I thought, better than nothing. There’s not much that affects me out on the road but losing all photos would’ve been a hard pill to slow.
Cirque Du Soleils in Vegas
I had a longer than most in Vegas and spent every day walking around to see what I could find. New York New York rollercoaster, the old town zipline and eating my way to diabetes was all fun but didn’t come close to one particular thing.
THEY JUST WERENT BACKING UP. 2 YEARS OF TRAVELLING AND I WAS SCARED AS SH*T I WOULD HAVE NOTHING TO SHOW FOR IT.

CIRQUE DU SOLEIL
Cirque du Soleil completely took me by surprise. I was recommended it by a friend and thought, sure why not if I have the time. After going to the Zumanity show in New York New York, I ended up going to 3 in total. It’s not the cheapest show in town but it was worth every penny and they all offer something unique.
FINAL THOUGHTS
If you find yourself in Vegas or anywhere else that Cirque du Soleil tours then I would highly recommend you go!
