AGNES WATER (TOWN OF 1770) – HERVEY BAY/RAINBOW BEACH – FRASER ISLAND
DINGOS ON FRASER ISLAND
I always wondered why people felt the need to visit here for 6 months – what do you do with your time?”
MOTORBIKES, DINGOS & SHIPWRECKS
Having been here only a few weeks it was clear why. There is just so much to do here on the east coast and if you really want to, spending 12 months here wouldn’t be unreasonable!
WHERE IS FRASER ISLAND?

AGNES WATER, TOWN OF 1770
After cruising the Whitsundays, I made for Agnes Water to do the Scooter Roo tour and Lorz. It’s basically dressing up as a Hells Angel and biking around the national park. It’s certainly more of a piss take than anything else but it was a laugh!!

FRASER ISLAND
Another must do activity is a tour and stay on Fraser Island, it’s stunning! As part of a tour we were able to drive around the island, check out the beached shipwreck, play some drinking games as well as spotting a few curious dingos!

FINAL THOUGHTS
In Australia, the east coast is where it all happens, not enough can be said about the people you meet and the things you can do. It’s a place everyone should visit, whether you are a keen traveller or not.
NEXT UP
The last leg of the east coast takes us from Brissie and the Gold Coast before having a few days in Byron Bay, one of my favourite places in Australia. Click to read!
