CANADA & U.S. PHOTO SERIES PT9
WEST COAST, U.S.A.
BIG SUR, ORANGE COUNTY & PEBBLE BEACH!
The entire trip was always going to be special but this stage has always been the one I have looked forward to the most! Driving down the Californian coast in a convertible, what’s there not to like? Myself and Ryan started off in San Francisco and made our way to Carmel and then to Santa Maria to visit and stay at Maurice Boyd, a friend of my mums.
WHERE IS CALIFORNIA?
CALIFORNIA ROADTRIP
CALIFORNIA ROADTRIP
From here it was onto Santa Barbara, Malibu, Santa Monica and then a night in Venice Beach at Venice Beach Hostel. Venice Beach is one of the hippiest and more intriguing places I have been. It sure won’t be everyones cup of tea but it’ll open your eyes up to a unique spot in L.A.
Then it was down through Long Beach, a busy Huntington Beach and finally arriving at Laguna Beach where we would experience our first ever earthquake!
After a night out on Balboa Island in Newport beach we made our way to San Diego via Pebble Beach Golf Course and Torrey Pines – just to get a photo for my dad (a big golf fan!).

FINAL THOUGHTS
This is really what all the fuss is about! If there is one thing I would wish to have it’s the weather and lifestyle the people in California have become accustomed to. For sure I’ll be back!
