Wa gine on? Welcome to Barbados, where the music, rum and fish fry never stop. There’s something for everyone here, with a Unesco-listed capital city that also happens to be home to great nightlife, and beaches perfect for lounging but also for snorkelling, diving and surfing. The slave-owning history of the island is evident in the grand architecture of plantation houses of Central Barbados, and the parliament houses of Bridgetown, both of which are worth a visit. But there’s plenty of less complicated experiences to enjoy too, with rum distilleries and some of the best food in the Caribbean. If you want to stroll in gardens, but be close to the beach, maybe drink a bit to much rum and get sunburnt and yet have the time of your life, then VISIT BARBADOS!
