Merhaba. Welcome to Iraq. Iraq has been difficult to visit for some time, following the Gulf Wars of the 90s and 2000s and the ongoing issues in the middle east. Yet, Iraq is the birth place of modern civilisation, from the Babylonians to the Assyrians, and should not be forgotten as a destination to explore. Hot and arrid climates have helped a lot of history from both empires, as well as the Ottoman Empire, to survive, though some of what stood only recently has been badly damaged by war.
